Magnificent building, well located. Made simply but with great taste.

We had rented two rooms, unfortunately we were put on different floors. With 3 young children, this complicated the logistics and caused noise knowing that sound insulation is quite limited in the building. No access to a fitted roof top, which is a bit of a shame…

The rooms were beautiful, as was the building itself. We very much enjoyed the balcony in the room we were staying in, and the tub and dual showers within the room elevated the experience. Kayden D. was exceptionally helpful and quick to address any issues we had come across and provided wonderful service.

We had issues with the portal to add our passport data, which made checking in a bit complicated, but Kayden was very helpful and got us into the building as quickly as possible.

I really liked the property (great example of maltese architecture) and its location. Senglea is underrated and therefore very calm and relaxing to stay in. The property is minutes away by walk from viewpoints on the grand harbour, the excellent restaurants on the waterfront, not too far from the ferry to Valletta either. There are a few convenience stores very close by for easy access to snacks. The owner also accommodated a last minute request of mine, at no extra charge. It was much appreciated. There were plenty of free toiletries, the water pressure in the shower is nice and the water heats up quickly.

I would have liked access to a small fridge, and I could hear a small hum from the water heater in the bathroom. Other than that it was really good and I would stay here again.

The room was beautiful and great value for money. The bed was very comfy. I also like that the hotline/service number was reachable even late at night and the people there were in a position to help.

The maintenance of the room was lacking. A corner of the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off and window fittings - both room window and bathroom window were loose. Given that the property is beautiful and well done it's sad that the upkeep falls short. It could be that guests do not provide feedback on these things but you'd expect a landlord service to check on the property regularly. That this is not the case was also clear when internet was down for 2 days after we realised that the router downstairs had been unplugged. About the setup of the room itself: Adding a small desk would be great. There is plenty of room for that.
